The 2005 SIO Visualization Center Competition

The 4th annual Graduate Student Visualization was held on October 14th, 2005 from 1pm to 4pm. See the links below for results for this event and past events.



SCORING

Entrants are scored on the following criteria
  • scientific accuracy
  • visual appeal
  • explanation of the visualization
  • KEEPING TO THE ASSIGNED TIME LIMIT!!! The time limit is 5-8 minutes for each presentation, with 2 minutes of questions.

Entry Requirements

  • You must be currently enrolled as a graduate student at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
  • You were not the grand prize winner of the competition in the previous year.
