The 2004 SIO Visualization Center Competition
The 3rd annual Graduate Student Visualization competition was held on October 22nd, 2004 at 1pm with a break for the Friday afternoon seminar from 3pm to 4pm. This years contest was open to any SIO graduate student - the top prizes included 3 iPod Mini's, and 5 xbox's.

SCORING
Entrants are scored on the following criteria
- scientific accuracy
- visual appeal
- explanation of the visualization
- KEEPING TO THE ASSIGNED TIME LIMIT!!! The time limit is 5-8 minutes for each presentation, with 2 minutes of questions.

Entry Requirements
- You must be currently enrolled as a graduate student at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
- You did not win the competition in the previous year.
