Photoshop Tips
Using the Magic Wand Tool:
To select a consistently colored area, you can use the magic wand tool. By setting the tolerance level, you can determine the similarity level of the color you wish to select. The higher the tolerance value, the broader the range of color that will be selected. Use the contiguous check box to select a continuous color area, or uncheck the box to select all of the same color.
Image Adjustments:
Photoshop has very useful "Auto Adjustment tools." These tools can be found under Image>> Adjustment. Using these tools is an option to manually adjusting your image settings. These tools will try to make your images clearer and cleaner.
Making Transparencies for Fledermaus:
You want to use the magic wand tool to select portions of your image to make transparent. Then you must save your image as a "tiff" file. When you open Fledermaus, you will import the image as a "Vertical Image." Set your bounds to your preference and check the "Mask Out Transparent Areas" box.

Dreamweaver
Creating Hyperlinks on Images
Dreamweaver has a very user friendly interface to create hyperlinks in images. First you will want to open/create a webpage in Dreamweaver. You can then import an image into the page. Keep in mind the location of your image and the link paths when you create the page. Select the image and in the image toolbox, select one of the "Hotspot tools" of your choice. Then you will highlight the region within the image that you wish to link. Enter the URL you wish to link and save.
Flash
Flash Scroll Bar
If you want to use the flash scroll bar found on the main page of siovizcenter then all you have to do is download the needed zip file. You can get this by clicking the image below. All you have to do is replace the default images with your own keeping the size of the images to 200x140 and changing the URL's in the text file. Keep the numerical ordering i.e. image0, image1, etc. The order of links will correspond to the order of the images. In the URL text file, the links are separated by " | ". You can insert this into your webpage using Dreamweaver. In Dreamweaver, just go to Insert>>Media>>Flash.
