"Ship To Shore" was an event in collaboration with The Preuss School, the SIO Visualization Center, the Optiputer project, and NSF in which a real-time video conference was held between a middle school class in San Diego and scientists on the Scripps Institution of Oceanography research vessel, Roger Revelle.

The inquisitive middle schoolers were given the opportunity to ask questions about what life and science is like half-way around the world.
